Abstract

The family is the smallest social unit that plays a vital role in shaping the personality and morality of its members. In Islam, women occupy a strategic position as primary educators, household managers, and guardians of the family’s spiritual values. This article aims to analyze the role of women in strengthening the resilience of Muslim families from both religious and social perspectives. The method used is qualitative-descriptive with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that women have a dual role in maintaining family stability, namely as ummun wa rabbatul bait (mother and household manager), as well as a partner to their husbands in building family welfare and harmony. The resilience of Muslim families can be achieved when women receive sufficient spiritual, educational, and social support to carry out their roles optimally.
