Coastal communities possess unique social characteristics and deep-rooted traditions, making conventional preaching approaches less effective. This study aims to examine humanistic da'wah strategies in the coastal area of Indramayu through a psychological and socio-religious lens. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews and participatory observation with religious leaders, fishermen, and coastal families. The findings indicate that da'wah emphasizing empathy, persuasive communication, and understanding of the community’s emotional and economic realities significantly improves message reception. The humanistic approach effectively fosters spiritual awareness and strengthens social cohesion among coastal residents. In conclusion, da'wah grounded in human psychology and socio-religious values leads to deeper and more sustainable religious transformation.
